What to write to us about
Anything about the site is fair game, but these are the messages we find most useful:
- A song's timing is off. Tell us the song and roughly where it drifts — "the lyrics run about a second ahead from the second chorus" is enough for us to re-sync it.
- The lyrics are wrong or incomplete. We pull lyrics from public sources and they aren't always accurate. Point at the line and we'll correct it.
- A bug. What you did, what happened, and what you expected instead. Your browser and whether you're on a phone or a laptop helps more than you'd think.
- A feature you want. A fair amount of what's on the site now started as someone's message here.
- Something about a payment or a pass. Write from the email address you paid with so we can find the order.
Looking for a song we don't have?
You don't need to email us for that. Search for it from the home page — if it isn't in the catalogue yet, the search results will offer to request it, and we'll pull in the lyrics and video for you. That route is faster than this form, because it goes straight into the queue rather than into an inbox.

What happens after you hit send
SongTyping is a small independent project, not a company with a support desk — every message here is read by a person, so replies take as long as they take rather than arriving instantly. We use your email address to answer you and nothing else: no mailing list, no sharing it on. If you want to know more about who's behind the site first, that's on the about page.
